Grape Varieties: 58% Cariñena, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon (Salanca’s parcel; Torroja), 18% red Grenache (Comellar’s parcel; Poboleda)
Ageing: 12 month of ageing in french new and 2nd year old barrel.
Vinification: Individual fermentation in vertical barrels, manual pigeage (punch down) extraction.
Vineyard: Finca Salanca (Torroja) and Gratallops (Syrah)
Soil type: Llicorella (Decomposed slate)
Vine Age: 21 years


Dark garnet color with purple and burgundy hues, not much translucent. The nose initially surprising ripe fruit, berries and plum compote. Perfectly integrated flavors of new oak barrels. Aromatic tertiary wide range where licorice and cloves are predominant. On the palate, has friendly tannin’s, expressed in his perfect balance with the fruit. This wine is rich, round, long and complex. It represents the character of Priorat.
