Dark maroon colour of high intensity with lilac shades. On the nose we find aromas of ripe red fruits and spicy notes. Later, aromas of dried fruits, tobacco, liquorice and clove appear.
In the mouth it reveals a dense, silky and balanced wine. Very elegant, with a long and well-structured finish.
The fermentation and alcoholic maceration has been carried out in open barrel during 3 weeks. They are small boots, in which the skins are put in contact with the must by the “pigage” method and the residue has been made by “remontage”, where the skins are raised to facilitate the exchange of colours by manual mixing. Finally, it is spent in a stainless steel vat for 3-4 weeks, macerated with the skins and then placed in new French oak barrels for 12 months. The aim is for the aromas of the barrel to blend with the aromas of the grape, obtaining a perfect balance and complexity, sublime…
FA means Fusta Allier (“Allier wood”), indicating the forest of origin of the barrels. The numbers refer to the age of the barrel and the aging time. The 112 refers to new barrels, with a minimum age of 12 months.
Varieties: 58% Cariñena, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon (from the Salanca farm; Torroja), 18% Garantxa tinta (from the Comellars farm; Poboleda)

The wine must be opened half an hour before consumption and the temperature must be checked. It goes perfectly with fatty meats and stews.
