Renéixer Negre

An explosion of freshness and youth

Selection

Our Renéixer 2017 is born from a combination of all our vineyards.  The vineyards are approximately 20 years old and give this wine special characteristics making it unique among the young wines of the Priorat.

Wine Making

Fermentation has been carried out with specifically selected yeasts and maintained at low temperatures. In addition the grapes are macerated with their skins for 3 weeks.

Quality

100% Organic, and with the approved seal of the Priorat Origin, the grapes have been carefully collected by hand and are managed in 20 kg boxes.

Grape Varieties

The red Grenache in combination with the Carignan give the wine a ruby red colour, with blue and bright shades.

Tasting note

To the nose, the violet flower and ripe red fruits are prominent, with the fresh and varietal aromas of the Grenache highlighting their presence. On the palate we notice a pleasant first encounter, with a particular youthful tannin. It is a lively and fresh wine, with character and elegance.

Selection

Our White Renéixer 2019 comes from our vineyards in Costers de la Ermita. The soil is made up of grey and copper slate, called “licorella” which is specific to the region. The vines are approximately 20 years old and give this wine special characteristics making it unique among the young wines of the Priorat

Wine Making

The fermentation has been carried out with specifically selected yeasts passed through a stainless steel vat, with the aim of preserving the aromatic purity of these varieties

100% Organic, and with the approved seal of the Priorat Origin, the grapes have been carefully collected by hand and are managed in 20 kg boxes.

Grape Varieties

The distinctiveness of this wine lies in the combination of the red grape varieties. The composition includes Merlot and white Grenache which give it a pale but vibrant colour.

Tasting Note

On the nose it holds a delicate floral aroma with notes of acacia, elder flower and pear. On the palate we notice a fresh, soft and fluid entry, with a flavour of white fruit and mineral notes. It is a gracious wine, with a youthful tannin present, full of freshness, character and elegance.

FA 206

«Fusta Allie 6 months in new French oak barrels »

Selection

The FA 206 2016 comes from our vineyards at Finca dels Comellars, els Costers de la Ermita and the Salancas. The soil is made up of grey and copper slate, called “licorella” which is specific to the region. The vines are approximately 20 years old and give this wine special characteristics making it unique among the young wines of the Priorat.

Wine Making

The alcoholic fermentation has been carried out in stainless steel vats for 3 to 4 weeks and macerated with their skins.

100% Organic, and with the approved seal of the Priorat Origin, the grapes have been carefully collected by hand and are managed in 20 kg boxes.

Grapes Varieties

It is a complex wine with a combined variety of red grapes, Red Grenache, Cariñera, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvingon, White Grenache and Syrah.

Tasting Note

Dark maroon in colour with a medium-high layer. On the nose, we find a varied profile. It is ripe with a confident oxidative character that gives it complexity and sophistication. The time spent in the oak barrels allows us to appreciate the roasted notes of tobacco and a plum compote finish. On the palate there is a warm finish with pleasant fleshy tannins.

FA 112

«Fusta Allie 12 months in new French oak barrels»

Selection

Our FA 112 2015 comes from our vineyards in Salancas and Comellars. The soil is made up of grey and copper slate, called “licorella” which is specific to the region. The vines are approximately 20 years old and give this wine special characteristics making it unique among the young wines of the Priorat.

Wine Making

The fermentation and alcoholic maceration has been carried out in open barrels during a 3 week process.

Quality

100% Organic, and with the approved seal of the Priorat Origin, the grapes have been carefully collected by hand and are managed in 20 kg boxes.

Grapes Varieties

The wine is made from the red grape varieties, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Red Grenache.

Tasting Note

A high intensity of dark maroon colour with lilac shades. On the nose we find aromas of ripe red fruits and spicy notes. Later the wine is accompanied with aromas of dried fruits, tobacco, liquorice and clove. On the palate a dense, silky and balanced wine is revealed. Elegant and regal in nature, with a long and well-structured finish.

La Capelleta

Gernage White with a light ageing process in the barrel

Selection

La Capelleta comes entirely from our vineyards of the Costers de la Ermita. It is a wine with the distinction “Vi de Vila de Gratallops”. This makes it a highly representative wine of the Gratallops territory.
The soil is made up of grey and copper slate, called “licorella”, where the vines are approximately 16 years old.

Wine Making

Fermentation is carried out in acacia and chestnut barrels at a controlled temperature of 16 degrees Celsius. It is in these barrels that the aging is completed.

100% Organic, and with the approved seal of the Priorat Origin, the grapes have been carefully collected by hand and are managed in 20 kg boxes.

This wine is enhanced 100% with white Grenache

Tasting Note

Bright and golden in colour, with slight pale yet transparent shades. On the nose we find syrupy aromas, apricot, dried apricots, and green almonds with a subtle touch of cinnamon. On the palate it presents an unctuous and pleasant entrance. There is a slight tang of acidity present without edges. Long and fresh on the palate.

Coster de l’Ermita

The Elegance of Complexity

Selection

Coster de l’Ermita is a wine that comes 100% from our vineyards in the Finca de Salancas. It is located at an altitude of 430-560 meters above sea level.
The soil is made up of grey and copper slate, called “licorella” which is specific to the region. The vines are approximately 22 years old and give this wine special characteristics making it unique among the young wines of the Priorat.

Wine Making

Fermentation has been carried out exclusively in open barrels, with the “chapeau” being submerged manually. Subsequently, 90% of the ageing process is carried out in new French oak barrels for 18 months and 10% in American barrels during the same period

100% Organic, and with the approved seal of the Priorat Origin, the grapes have been carefully collected by hand and are managed in 20 kg boxes.

Grapes Varieties

The wine is made from 100% Carignan grapes.

Tasting Note

Dark garnet in colour with lilac and burgundy shades. On the nose we initially find young wood notes. Once aired, the notes are transformed into more complex aromas and an assortment of liquorice and spices. What then gives way is the experience of rich ripe fruit, red fruit compote and plum. There is a very wide aromatic range in this wine. There is an exciting and jovial entry, but with a sophisticated character. The wine expresses the mineral quality of the territory via the retro-nasal route with hints of rich damp earth and undergrowth. The friendly tannin is expressed in perfect balance with the elegant fruit. This is the maximum expression of this variety in Priorat.
